How to Wash Bar Towels
It can be hard to remove grease stains but it’s even harder when you have to remove grease stains from bar towels, because bar towels are made of super absorbent materials.
What makes it even harder is that bar towels are used to wipe grease and oil, which aren’t actually easily removed from water because of their contrasting properties.
If you are having a difficult time getting stains out of your bar towels, the following instructions offer some good tips:
- Soak your bar towels in hot water. Leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. Replace the water with clean hot water. Leave it again for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Soak your bar towels in cold water and add powdered or liquid detergent. Leave it for about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Wash your bar towels.
- Before rinsing, soak the bar towels again in hot water, then cold water.
- Allow your bar towels to dry. You now have clean bar towels again.
